Athens Print Shop is proud to be an officially licensed vendor for The University of Georgia
Our licensing allows us to print shirts with UGA trademarks for students, staff members, faculty, departments, UGA organizations and clubs.
All orders using The University of Georgia’s name or trademarks will need to be submitted to the UGA Trademarks Office for approval. Once we have a design concept, you will need to fill out this form(UGA Trademarks Approval Form) and send it the trademarks office at trademarks@uga.edu. The form includes instructions on how to fill out and will need to be submitted with the art approval form you will receive from Athens Print Shop’s art department.
You will need to receive approval on your end before we can submit to our licensing partner for approval. Once you get approval, please send the signed form back to us. If changes are requested before approval, we will need to send a revised art approval form to be resubmitted.

Are there order minimums?
We do have a minimum of 24 for all custom screen printing and embroidery orders. There are no minimums on DTG (direct-to-garment) orders. Feel free to mix and match any style of shirt, sweatshirt, polo, etc. As long as there are 24 pieces total with the same design, we are all good!
I don't see the product/style I am looking for?
We only have a limited number of products available on our website. Feel free to browse our wholesaler's website using the link below or contact us and we will be more than happy to help.
We have access to all major brands like Comfort Colors, Hanes, Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Next Level, Badger, C2, Shaka Wear, Champion and more!
Can I supply my own shirts?
Certainly! While we typically get better discounts with our suppliers, you are welcome to supply your own. Just contact us prior to placing your order with us for more info. We do not offer the same guarantees on customer supplied garments and may have limitations on what we can print on. We are also unable to replace customer supplied garments if there is an issue in the printing process. We cannot accept customer supplied garments for DTG orders unfortunately.
What are the maximum print size you can print?
We will help with determining the size of the print but we do have limitations depending on the style of shirt. Below is our maximum print sizes. Please note, we are unable to print oversized designs. Screen printing Adult Imprint: 12" x 16" Youth Imprint: 10" x 14" Sleeve / Pocket Imprint: 3-1/4" x 16" DTG Printing Adult Imprint: 13" x 18" Youth Imprint: 10" x 14" Sleeve / Pocket Imprint:3.5" x 3.5"
What ink colors can I choose?
We have over 40 standard or in-stock ink colors for screen printing. Please let us know if you need a custom ink color, we can custom mix just about any color out there! DTG Printing offers unlimited color options although it may be difficult to match exact pantone colors using DTG.
Can you print photographs?
We can print photographs without limitation using our DTG/DTF printing services. Generally, photographic images are not recommended for screen printing. Please send us your image and we will determine whether we can print it or help find someone who can
Can I mix and match shirt and ink colors?
Yes, this is not a problem as long as you use the same ink color. For example, it’s not a problem for us to print black ink on an order containing green, blue, and yellow t-shirts. We charge a $15 ink change fee for each ink change on each order. So if we need to change from white ink to black ink, we would need to charge an extra $15 to cover our costs. There are no additional charges for DTG orders.
Can I get just a sample or a few now and order bulk later?
Unfortunately, we have to stick to our minimum order of 24 for each order for all screen printing orders. Larger orders will be discounted depending on the quantity of shirts ordered. We can offer samples using DTG/DTF printing although there may be slight variations in those printing methods and screen printing. Either method you choose, you will receive an electronic proof of your design and the general layout. You must approve this proof before we can print.
What are the payment terms?
As we are providing a printing service and not an actual t-shirt manufacturer, we need to order the blank apparel from the manufacture(s). Therefore, we require a 50% deposit before starting any custom orders with the balance due on pickup or prior to shipping. We will send an invoice prior to starting your order and you will be able to make payment online using a credit card or electronic check. Orders online can also choose Shop Pay which offers payment terms.
What if I want to cancel my order?
We give you a 24 hour grace period to alter your order. If you decide to cancel beyond 24 hours, there is a $50 min fee (artwork already prepared may change cancellation fee) and you must pay the restocking fees from the manufacture for the garments (typically 20%)
How long will it take to get my order?
Our standard turn around time is 7-10 business days on screen printing orders. You may choose to Rush your order for 3-5 business day service. We are unable to guarantee same day or next day printing. Additional charges apply to rush orders. DTG/DTF printing typically takes 48-72 hours but we do keep a limited selection of blanks on hand for those needing faster printing services. Please contact us prior to placing your order to see if we can accommodate faster service if needed.
