Do I need licensing approval for fraternity or sorority apparel?

Yes. Athens Print Shop is officially licensed with Affinity for fraternity and sorority apparel. Once your artwork is finalized, we submit it for Affinity Greek Licensing approval. If you're ordering with us for the first time with a particular fraternity or sorority, please allow extra time — we may need to apply for trademark licensing for your specific organization.

How long does Affinity licensing take?

First-time orders may require additional processing time because trademark licensing may need to be obtained. Affinity licenses are good for one year, so subsequent orders placed within that period move faster. Plan ahead for first-time orders, especially around rush season or formals.

Are royalties and licensing fees included in the price?

Yes. Our pricing is all-inclusive with the exception of sales tax and plus-size garments. All royalties, dues, and licensing-related costs are included in the quoted price — no surprise add-ons.

Are there order minimums for Greek apparel?

Yes — we have a 24-piece minimum for all custom screen printing and embroidery orders. There is no minimum for DTF (direct-to-film) orders. You can mix and match any style of shirt, sweatshirt, or polo as long as there are 24 pieces total with the same design.

I don't see the product or style I'm looking for — can you source it?

We only show a limited selection on our website, but we have access to the full S&S Activewear catalog. Browse their site for the style you need, then contact us and we'll source it. We carry Comfort Colors, Hanes, Gildan, Bella+Canvas, Next Level, Badger, C2, Shaka Wear, Champion, and more.

Can I supply my own shirts for a Greek order?

Yes, but contact us before placing your order. We don't offer the same guarantees on customer-supplied garments, may have limitations on what we can print on, and cannot replace them if there's a printing issue. Customer-supplied garments cannot be accepted for DTF orders.

What ink colors can I choose from?

We stock 40+ standard screen-printing ink colors and can custom-mix just about any shade. DTF offers unlimited color options, though exact Pantone matching is more difficult with DTF than with screen printing.

Can I mix and match shirt and ink colors?

Absolutely — as long as you use the same ink color. For example, black ink on an order with green, blue, and yellow shirts is no problem. A $15 ink-change fee applies per ink change. There are no additional charges for DTF orders.

Can I get a sample before ordering in bulk?

We stick to the 24-piece minimum for screen printing, but we can produce samples using DTF. Note that DTF may look and feel slightly different from screen printing. Either way, you'll receive an electronic proof to approve before we print.

What if I want to cancel my order?

You have a 24-hour grace period to alter your order. After that, a $50 minimum cancellation fee applies (more if artwork has already been prepared), plus manufacturer restocking fees on the garments (typically 20%).

How long will my Greek order take?

Standard screen printing turnaround is 7–10 business days once we get approval from Licensing . Rush service is available for 3–5 business days at an additional charge, subject to press availability. DTF typically takes 48–72 hours. Please note that first-time Affinity licensing approval may add time — plan accordingly.

Order Minimums

24-piece minimum for custom screen printing and embroidery (same design). No minimum for Digital Printing orders. Mix and match any garment style — t-shirts, sweatshirts, polos — as long as the total hits 24 pieces with the same design.

Customer-Supplied Garments

You're welcome to supply your own garments, but contact us first. We don't offer the same guarantees on customer-supplied items, can't replace them if a printing issue occurs, and cannot accept them for Digital Printing orders.

Maximum Print Sizes

Screen Printing — Adult: 12" × 16", Youth: 10" × 14", Sleeve/Pocket: 3.25" × 16". DTG — Adult: 13" × 18", Youth: 10" × 14", Sleeve/Pocket: 3.5" × 3.5". We cannot print oversized designs.

Ink Colors

40+ standard in-stock screen-printing ink colors. Need something specific? We custom-mix just about any color. Digital Printing offers unlimited color options, though exact Pantone matching is more difficult with Direct-to-Film (DTF) technology.

Photographic Prints

Digital Printing can reproduce full-color photographs without limitation. Photographic images are generally not recommended for screen printing — send us your image and we'll advise on the best method.
